The city is experiencing very hot weather as the local weather forecast upgraded the high-temperature yellow alert to orange for the whole city at 8:30 a.m. yesterday. It is expected that high temperatures will intensify today and tomorrow, with the highs above 37 degrees Celsius. As of 2:05 p.m. yesterday, the highest temperature recorded at all ground meteorological stations in the city was 38.7°C, which occurred at Wanfeng Station in Bao'an District.
