InPics | Guangzhou ready for Spring Festival travel rush

The 2024 Spring Festival travel rush will kick off tomorrow (January 26) and last for 40 days until March 5.

To meet the record-breaking traffic load, a total of 129 high-speed trains have been overhauled and cleaned up at Guangzhou South Railway Station.

In the meantime, more than 60,000 flights are scheduled to take off or land at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. This year's passenger throughput will probably reach 9.1 million, reaching an all-time high.

February 8 is expected to have the highest passenger flow. Starting from February 1, the Chinese rose garden on the roof of the airport's P8 building will officially open. By then, passengers can enjoy the unique beauty of 26 varieties of Chinese roses from all over the world.
