The second phase of the 136th Canton Fair is in full swing. According to data released by the China Foreign Trade Center under the Ministry of Commerce on the 21st, over 130,000 foreign buyers from 211 countries and regions have attended the first phase of the Fair, marking a 4.6% increase compared with the previous session. Many exhibiting companies reported that the foreign buyers attending this phase had clear purchasing goals and a strong willingness to place orders, reflecting their trust in Chinese suppliers and products.
"We were impressed by the high-tech applications in LED at the Canton Fair; we've never seen anything like this in our country," said Santiago, a buyer from Mexico who is attending the Fair for the first time. He shared with reporters that he was overwhelmed by the variety of Chinese home appliance products exhibited, and he anticipates that several products he plans to import will become "bestsellers" back in Mexico.
