Guangdong-based XAG rolls out new farm vehicles

On June 5, Guangdong-based XAG unveiled its 2025 models of agricultural autonomous vehicles, the R100 and R200.

The new agricultural autonomous vehicles have undergone comprehensive upgrades in structural design, intelligent control, task systems, and power systems.

The R100 features a lightweight body made entirely of aluminum alloy and a narrow width of just 80 centimeters, allowing it to easily navigate through planting rows ranging from 2 to 4 meters wide. Equipped with a four-wheel independent motor drive system and a suspended portal axle structure, the R100 boasts excellent terrain adaptability and off-road capabilities. It can travel smoothly on muddy roads and traverse slopes of up to 20%.

The R100 is equipped with a 120-liter intelligent pesticide tank and utilizes intelligent centrifugal atomization spraying technology, achieving a maximum spraying flow rate of 8 liters per minute. It supports adjustable atomized particle sizes ranging from 60 to 200 microns.

With a maximum horizontal spraying range of up to 7 meters on one side, the R100 can directly deliver pesticides to crops, providing wide spraying coverage. Its dual-side mist cannons can be manually adjusted to accommodate crops of different heights, enabling multi-directional and multi-angle spraying.

In addition, the R100 offers powerful intelligent features, including path memory, path planning, and AI-assisted safety functions, enhancing its operations in orchards, greenhouses, and other environments.

For tall fruit trees and scenarios requiring larger water volumes, XAG has also introduced the six-wheel R200 agricultural autonomous vehicle. It features a 240-liter ultra-large-capacity intelligent pesticide tank, capable of achieving a maximum spraying flow rate of 16 liters per minute. Meanwhile, its six-wheel independent drive system provides superior off-road performance. With four sets of mist cannons working in coordination, it offers a wider operational coverage area to meet diverse operational scenarios.

In recent years, Guangdong has been actively promoting the integration of new quality productive forces with traditional agriculture. The province's contribution rate of agricultural science and technology progress exceeds 73%, the coverage rate of improved varieties for major crops is over 98%, and the comprehensive mechanization rate for rice cultivation, planting, and harvesting reaches over 80%.

In 2024, XAG's overseas revenue accounts for more than 30% of its total revenue, and the company has expanded its business to over 70 countries and regions.
