Visa-free entry policy facilitates 17,000 people at Baiyun Airport in one month

According to the Baiyun Station of Guangzhou General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection, since the visa-free entry policy in place for holders of ordinary passports from France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and Malaysia on December 1st, 2023, the number of people benefiting from this policy at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport has significantly increased. As of midnight on January 1st, 2024, the Baiyun Station has processed over 61,000 inbound and outbound travelers from the above-mentioned countries, with nearly 17,000 people granted visa-free entries.

According to the Baiyun Station, in order to ensure smooth and orderly clearance during the trial period of the visa-free policy, they have collaborated with airlines and other resident units to keep track of flight information and passenger situations. By optimizing the clearance process and improving service guidance, they strive to provide a safe, efficient, and convenient clearance environment for inbound and outbound travelers.

Notably, from December 1st, 2023, to November 30th, 2024, individuals from the aforementioned six countries holding ordinary passports who come to China for business, tourism, or visiting within 15 days can enjoy visa-free entry.
