As of now, Dongguan boasts 62 companies listed on the A-share market and 84 companies listed both domestically and internationally. This places the city at the top among prefecture-level cities in Guangdong Province for the number of listed companies, a remarkable feat for a city with a rich industrial history.This year also marks the 30th anniversary of Dongguan's entry into the capital markets, and the momentum continues. Two new companies, Qiaofeng Intelligent and Changlian Technology, have joined the ranks of A-share listed firms since July. Additionally, Dongguan now has 358 companies in its pipeline, ready to embark on their own listing journeys.
Dongguan's listed companies are not just numerous, they're impactful. Among the 84 listed firms, 47% are on the Growth Enterprise Market (GEM), 35% on the Main Board, and 15% on the Sci-Tech Innovation Board (STAR Market). Together, these companies have built a formidable financial footprint. By the end of June 2024, the total assets of Dongguan's listed companies reached 257.2 billion RMB, with net assets of 145.4 billion RMB.Notably, electronics and machinery dominate the landscape, with 47% of Dongguan's listed companies falling within these industries. Given their contribution of 30% to 40% of Dongguan's industrial output, these sectors are crucial pillars of both the city's economy and its future growth.

These sectors form the backbone of the city's industrial strength, driving both its economic stability and future growth potential. Their combined impact solidifies Dongguan's position as a key player in the capital markets, contributing significantly to the city's development as a manufacturing and innovation powerhouse.
