The second Hengqin and Macao Blossom Carnival concluded in Hengqin on December 9 and attracted about 127,000 visitors to the Hengqin Flower Corridor, an increase of about 398 percent compared to the same period last year.
The event leveraged the upgraded Hengqin Flower Corridor, enhancing the artistic experience, introducing more interactive games compared to the previous session, and integrating stage art with Hengqin's natural environment.
Through various activities such as traditional culture displays, choral performances, situational art, and coffee experience, visitors were able to fully appreciate the scenery of the flower corridor. The event is seen as a platform to further enrich Hengqin's "nature + culture" brand and enhance its urban connotation.
According to the organizer, the Livelihood Affairs Bureau of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, the event not only showcased the scenic beauty of the flower corridor and the diverse cultures of Guangdong and Macao to tourists, but also highlighted the cooperation zone's latest achievements in promoting the integrated development of regional cultural tourism.
