Intercity bus service between Shenzhen and Zhongshan set to launch

On June 5th, the Transport Bureau of Zhongshan Municipality announced that two intercity bus routes, "Expo Center - Qianhai Bay" and "Cuiheng New District Talent Hub - Qianhai Bay," will be launched concurrently with the opening of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link.

The "Expo Center - Qianhai Bay" route will connect the Zhongshan Expo Center and Qianhai Bay Metro Station in Shenzhen, covering a total distance of 60 kilometers (50 kilometers on the highway), with an estimated travel time of 60 minutes.

The "Cuiheng New District Talent Hub - Qianhai Bay" route will connect the Cuiheng New District Talent Hub in Zhongshan and the Qianhai Bay Metro Station in Shenzhen, covering a total distance of 45 kilometers (34 kilometers on the highway), with an estimated travel time of 45 minutes.

The final ticket price for the two routes is set at 18 RMB for the "Expo Center - Qianhai Bay" route and 15 RMB for the "Cuiheng New District Talent Hub - Qianhai Bay" route.

A total of 24 buses will be deployed for the two routes, with service hours as follows: Expo Center station, from 06:20 to 21:30; Cuiheng New District Talent Hub station, from 06:20 to 21:30; Qianhai E Hub North District station, from 07:00 to 21:30.

Upon the commencement of the intercity bus service, passengers can use the "Shenzhen-Zhongshan Intercity Bus" mini-program on WeChat to check schedules, purchase tickets, request refunds, reschedule, and check orders.

Additionally, according to the district government of Nansha in Guangzhou, the district has commissioned research institutions to conduct a specialized study on intercity bus services between Nansha District and Shenzhen. Preliminary plans include two intercity bus routes via the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, with stations in Nansha District within the range of the Jiaomenhe downtown area and stations in Shenzhen within the range of Qianhai Bay and Shenzhen Bao'an Airport.
