From October 18 to 27, the 2024 Dongguan Changping Beer Carnival will take over Changping Railway Park, offering an unforgettable experience for locals and visitors alike. With a variety of activities, drinks, and entertainment, this festival is a good chance to savor the best of both worlds: authentic beer brewed locally and a vibrant carnival atmosphere.

A feast of beers
Did you know that several renowned beer brands have established production bases in Dongguan? Among them is the Zhujiang Brewery in Changping Town, featuring three state-of-the-art beer production lines with an annual capacity of 300,000 kiloliters, making it a key hub for Pearl River Beer.
Over 20 well-known domestic and international beer brands, including Zhujiang, Budweiser, Heineken, Carlsberg, and more, will be making their way to the carnival. A massive 1,200-square-meter beer tent has been constructed, capable of holding over 500 guests at once, ensuring plenty of space to savor your favorite brews.
There's even a "Challenge Your Beer Belly" contest, where participants can compete in fun, creative drinking challenges. Whether it's speed drinking, team challenges, or creative methods like straw or funnel drinking, participants can showcase their prowess in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
Beyond beer, food lovers will rejoice in the carnival's culinary delights. With nearly 200 food stalls featuring everything from local Dongguan favorites to global snacks, the festival is sure to satisfy every craving. To ensure safety and quality, all food vendors operate under strict supervision, with daily inspections guaranteeing that everything is fresh and safe to eat.
Pink beach
The carnival isn't just for beer lovers. With over 20 different amusement rides, including go-karts, bumper cars and a rainbow slide, kids and adults alike will have endless fun.
There's even a dreamy 500-square-meter pink sand beach, perfect for sandcastle building or simply lounging with friends or capturing Insta-worthy moments.
Wonderful shows
To top it all off, the carnival includes a vibrant cultural market showcasing handmade crafts, trendy accessories, and more. Visitors can also enjoy captivating performances of traditional Chinese arts, such as the majestic Yingge Dance and the spectacular Da Tiehua, a molten iron fireworks show.

Known as the "Warrior Dance of China," this National Intangible Cultural Heritage showcases dynamic moves with colorful costumes and rhythmic drum beats, giving audience a taste of traditional Southern China.
Da Tiehua
Watch as sparks fly with the stunning iron flower Show, a centuries-old Chinese firework display. Skilled craftsmen hurl molten iron into the air, creating a spectacle that lights up the night sky.
