In Guangdong, there's a tradition to buy some fresh flowers or kumquat trees for the Chinese New Year. Chencun in Shunde, Foshan, has a long history of flower cultivation and is one of the oldest towns where Lingnan flower markets originated. This year, Chencun Flower World will host the 40th Spring Festival Flower Market, which is the largest in Foshan.
