Dr Ma Pui Han has been always concerned about her hometown of Shachong. She and her companions first visited the Ma Zaiming Memorial Hall and the Shachong Kindergarten inside. Shachong Kindergarten is a part of the Ma Zaiming Memorial Hall, which was reconstructed after the descendants of Ma Yingbiao donated the use right of it. At the kindergarten, Dr Ma Pui Han had a warm conversation with the principal and the children, and listened to the introduction about the school's operation.
The Nanyuan Hall was the living room of the former residence of Ma Yingbiao. Dr Ma Pui Han could still vividly remember every table, chair, exhibit, and photo in the house as well as every detail of her childhood life here.
Dr Ma Pui Han was delighted by the renovated Shachong commune area when she walked along the Shachong historical and cultural block. They also visited Zhongshan Museum to learn about the history and culture of Xiangshan.
Born in Shanghai in 1926, Dr Ma Pui Han has made significant achievements in clinical medicine. She is known as the "Master of Gynaecology" in Hong Kong, and her academic accomplishments are globally renowned.
