136th Canton Fair: new products, new technologies, new business models

On October 15th, the 136th China Import and Export Fair officially opened its doors to visitors. This year, over 8,000 enterprises, recognized as national high-tech firms,"little giants," and champions in various manufacturing sectors, participated—an increase of over 40% compared to the previous edition. Approximately 3,600 companies related to "new three," digital technology, and smart manufacturing showcased their innovations. New products, new technologies, and new business models are emerging. In various fields, Chinese companies are leading the global market with their competitive advantages.

At the Chigo booth, air conditioners featuring Wi-Fi and smart voice functions attracted considerable attention from exhibitors. Thanks to years of technological research and product innovation, Chigo has established a strong brand reputation and market influence in regions including the Americas, Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Africa. In 2024, the company's revenue from overseas markets is expected to increase by over 70% year-on-year.

Skyworth made a stunning debut with an MR device that competes with Apple's VISION PRO. Skyworth's overseas business saw year-on-year growth of 54.5% in the first half of this year, Showcasing strong momentum in international markets.

The New Energy Vehicle and Smart Mobility exhibition area was equally bustling, with Sky-well New Energy Automobile Group's garbage collection vehicles and electric SUVs attracting many buyers for discussions. Sky-well believes that expanding into overseas markets is crucial for new energy vehicle companies to enhance their survival space and quality, and the Canton Fair serves as an excellent platform for this purpose.

Additionally, Energy storage companies are also showcasing new products, technologies, and business models to international audiences. This year's fair featured a new hydrogen energy section in the renewable energy exhibition area and established a dedicated zone for energy storage products, attracting over 110 participating enterprises. MPMC Powertech Co., Ltd. displayed mixed energy storage power stations and other power solutions, drawing significant interest from overseas buyers.
