"We received an urgent request for 25.3 million KN95 anti-epidemic masks on February 17 from the Hong Kong SAR Government, our company responded quickly," said Li Nanjing, general manager of Kingfa Sci. and Tech. Co., Ltd. On the afternoon of the same day, Kingfa sent 300,000 masks to Hong Kong, and had 25 million masks shipped in the following days.
Usually, the company's mask factory at Qingyuan produces 800,000 KN95 masks every day in 20 production lines. In order to meet the production demand for supporting Hong Kong, the factory increased its daily production capacity to 3 million KN95 masks.
According to Li, they are expanding their production place and capacity, its production lines will be increased to 90. "We will do everything possible to ensure supply and increase production capacity as long as Hong Kong needs it," said Li.
