The delegation visited Guangzhou as its first stop. They were invited to experience the Pearl River Night Cruise, admiring Guangzhou’s Thirteen Hongs and the Customs Bell Tower (former Guangzhou Customs Building), which represent Guangzhou’s traditional global trade culture, as well as Zhujiang New Town and Canton Tower, which reflect the city’s modern metropolis. The beautiful night view wowed Macao journalists, and they couldn’t wait to record what they saw on the cruise.

The delegation is scheduled to go to Shaoguan, Dongguan and Shenzhen in the following three days, visiting China Spallation Neutron Source, Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory, and several high-tech companies such as Huawei, BYD, and Guangdong Huashao Data Valley Technology Co., Ltd. They will be eagerly looking for the latest sci-tech development in the GBA.
