The remnants of Typhoon "Maliksi" have mostly concluded their downpour along the southeastern coast of China. However, starting from June 3rd, a new bout of precipitation is on the horizon.

On June 3rd, a trough is expected to develop over Guangxi, with its shear line extending to affect the central and western parts of Guangdong. Coupled with small waves moving eastward on the north side of the subtropical high, rainfall is expected to intensify in the Pearl River Delta and western Guangdong. On Tuesday and Wednesday, rainfall in the Pearl River Delta, western Guangdong, Shaoguan, Qingyuan, and the southern coastal areas of Guangdong is expected to increase.

On Tuesday, Shaoguan, Qingyuan, the Pearl River Delta, and the cities and counties in western Guangdong will experience cloudy to overcast skies with moderate to heavy rain and isolated torrential rain. Other areas will have clouds with (thunder) showers.
On Wednesday, the northern part of Guangdong, the Pearl River Delta, the northern part of western Guangdong, and the cities and counties in eastern Guangdong will see cloudy to overcast skies with moderate to heavy rain and isolated torrential rain. Other areas will have clouds with (thunder) showers.
