This Saturday, May 24, 2025, the tranquil Chuihong Park in Foshan will transform into a canvas for imaginative exploration as the Boundless Art initiative unveils three site-specific installations and hosts an immersive salon titled Future Wilderness. Blending art, community, and nature, the event invites attendees to engage with creative visions of urban green spaces, to be complemented by a curated wine-tasting experience led by Le Ren Li's YC Wong.

This work emerged from field research and exploration of Chuihong Community and its park, weaving nature and humanity into an intimate tapestry. Each blade of grass and tree branch becomes a verse of poetry, murmuring softly, indistinct yet lingering in the air, like a whispered confidant. Through concrete hand gesture symbols and site-specific creation, the artist endeavours to articulate the poetic resonance felt in this space.

To hear the voice of Chuihong is to hear the soul of Foshan. Come, and listen to the healing sounds of this community. Over the years, Huang Xiaomi has watched Chuihong—a community she once called home—transform into a vibrant cultural hub, a window to Foshan for the world. Yet, she still cherishes the quiet everyday moments hidden within its streets.

Artist Jiang Chunlin replaces foliage with industrially cut acrylic prisms, transforming the park into a laboratory of light structures. These unfading chemical fragments dangle from ancient branches like frozen rainbow specimens. As urbanites navigate this spectral labyrinth of artificial hues, a postmodern language emerges—a reminder that in the interplay between technology and nature, our numbed, screen-mediated senses awaken anew.
Complementing the visual spectacle, YC Wong, curator of Le Ren Li, will present a Spring/Summer Poetry in Wine session. Against the backdrop of live music and art, guests can savour eight carefully selected wines, from crisp whites to delicate rosés, each serving as a "liquid artwork" to stimulate conversation about the intersection of taste and creativity.
This interdisciplinary gathering transcends traditional art exhibitions, framing parks as dynamic spaces for cultural exchange and introspection. By merging sculptural installations, communal storytelling, and sensory indulgence, Future Wilderness invites participants to reimagine urban green spaces as living canvases—where art, memory, and ecological consciousness converge.
