On March 29, the State Council Information Office of China held a press conference in Beijing with the theme of "Promoting high-quality development." The Governor of Guangdong Province, Wang Weizhong, attended the conference and introduced Guangdong's dedication to advancing high-quality development and spearheading Chinese modernization.
"Guangdong's economic target this year is a regional GDP growth of five percent, and we are confident to achieve it," Wang Weizhong said.
