A graduate outcomes report for the class of 2023, released by the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen) yesterday, revealed that more than half of CUHK-Shenzhen undergraduates who entered the job market after graduation chose Shenzhen as their preferred employment location.

Over 30% of these graduates secured employment with large private companies, which include industry giants such as Huawei, SF Express, and ByteDance.

For the first time, the percentage of CUHK-Shenzhen undergraduates pursuing further education surpassed 80%.

Within this group, 37.9% opted to further their studies in the United States.

Moreover, about 21.7% of the graduates were accepted into some of the world’s top 10 universities, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford, and Harvard University.

This year commemorates the 10th anniversary of CUHK-Shenzhen’s establishment, and the class of 2023 represents the sixth cohort of undergraduate students to be nurtured by the institution.
