Long-awaited sunshine to make a short comeback in Guangdong

After more than 20 days of rain in Guangzhou, many netizens are experiencing a damp, moldy smell wherever they go. The good news is that on May 13th, the rainfall in the south will continue moving southwards to the southern part of South China, bringing moderate to heavy rain, as well as local downpours, to the coastal areas of southern Guangdong and Hainan Island.

From May 14th onwards, precipitation in the southern part of South China will significantly decrease! In the next few days, most parts of Jiangnan and the central and eastern parts of South China will experience intermittent rainfall, and Guangdong is expected to see the long-lost sunshine.

Those looking to dry their laundry can now put it on their agenda. However, despite the intermittent precipitation, the cloud cover remains relatively high at present, so please keep an eye on the latest weather updates.
