“I feel so happy. Now after lifting the lockdown, we only want to have morning tea and go to the park. We’re used to doing that every day,” said local residents who were enjoying the morning tea in Guangzhou Restaurant at Wenchang Road in Liwan district.

Sen’s snack bar, a restaurant with 76 years of history at Tongfu Middle Road in Haizhu district, resumed dine-in service on Thursday (December 1).

“We were very excited to hear about the resumption. Our staff members were also very happy. But, lifting the lockdown doesn’t mean we stop preventing the epidemic. Customers who come to dine need to scan the health code and check their body temperature. We are confident that our business will get better and better,” said the restaurant owner.
