Dongguan to host the FIA World RX Championship

On the morning of May 21, the delegation of the FIA World Rallycross Championship (World RX) visited Dongguan for an exchange. They plan to host the 2024 World RX (China) in October this year, which means that this world-class event with more than 50 years of history will take place in Dongguan.

The World RX event aligns with the trendy vibe of Dongguan.

The FIA World Rallycross Championship (World RX) evolved from the prestigious European Rallycross Championship under the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). This event combines excitement and spectacle in one competition.

This year, seven races are planned to be held in cities around the world, including France, Sweden, and Hungary. The 2024 World RX (China) in Dongguan will be a world-class event hosted by the FIA in mainland China, following the F1 and FE.

At the meeting, Arne Dirks, the Managing Director of the FIA World Rallycross Championship, expressed a strong desire to establish a long-term partnership with Dongguan. "We know that Dongguan has been developing the 'Trendy Dongguan' brand in recent years, which aligns perfectly with the positioning of our event. We will do our utmost in preparation and organization to bring an exciting event to the Chinese audience," he said.
