According to the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province, April 30th, the second day of May Day holiday, saw 2.855 million tourists in 150 scenic spots in the province, with a year-on-year increase of 168.8%. The scenic spots rating as 4A and above in the province have received 3.229 million tourists, with a year-on-year increase of 164.2%. A total of 75 key public cultural institutions have received 173,000 visitors, with a year-on-year increase of 76.8%.

During this holiday, cultural venues become increasingly popular, with over ten thousand visitors to Guangdong Museum and Nanyue King Museum.
