Starting from September 30th and spanning October 1st, 6th, and 7th, the entire Shenzhen Metro network (excluding Line 20 but including Line 4) will offer extended services 1 to 2.5 hours longer than usual. For the intervening days from October 2nd to 5th, select lines will have their nighttime operations extended by half an hour, while the "Mid-Journey Last Train" service will remain in operation.

The National Day holiday in 2024 falls between October 1st (Tuesday) and October 7th (Monday), with September 29th (Sunday) and October 12th (Saturday) designated as regular working days.

To cater to the heightened travel demand during the holiday, Shenzhen Metro has devised a comprehensive plan based on past passenger flow patterns, ensuring seamless travel for citizens. Specifically, on September 30th, October 1st, October 6th, and October 7th, the entire network will see its nighttime operations extended by 1 to 2.5 hours, with service hours extended to 24:00 or beyond for some lines. Lines 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, and 12, which offer the "Mid-Journey Last Train" service, will further extend their operations.

Notably, on September 30th and October 1st, Line 4 will see its nighttime operations extended by 1.5 hours, with the final trains departing from Shenzhen North Station in both directions of Lines 4, 5, and 6 no earlier than 1:00 AM the following day. From October 2nd to October 5th, Line 4's nighttime operations will be extended by half an hour. Meanwhile, from October 6th to October 7th, Line 4's extension reaches 2.5 hours, while Lines 5 and 6 will see a 2-hour extension. During this period, the final trains on Lines 4, 5, and 6 departing from Shenzhen North Station will not leave earlier than 2:00 AM the next day, ensuring citizens' nighttime travel needs are fully met.

Shenzhen Metro urges passengers to pay close attention to official operation announcements during the holiday period and plan their trips accordingly. For assistance, passengers can directly contact station staff or call the Shenzhen Metro customer service hotline at 0755-88960600.
