Since opening, the Shenzhong (Shenzhen-Zhongshan) Link has quickly become a very popular attraction. What should someone do if faced with an emergency while traveling on the Shenzhong Link?
The Shenzhen Emergency Medical Center has formulated comprehensive emergency management procedures in collaboration with relevant departments, Shenzhen Economic Daily reported.
The Shenzhen 120 Center stands at the forefront of emergency response for the bustling Shenzhong Link, ensuring that help is never far when accidents or medical emergencies occur. With a dedicated emergency call number, 120, the center dispatches ambulances and rescuers in accordance with standard emergency response principles.
Shenzhen's emergency medical resources are carefully allocated, based on proximity, to ensure the fastest possible response. In the vicinity of the link, hospitals covered by the 120 network include the Huangtian Emergency Station of Bao'an District Central Hospital, Shenzhen Hengsheng Hospital, Bao'an District Fuyong People's Hospital, Bao'an District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Shenzhen Hospital of Southern Medical University, and Bao'an District People's Hospital.
In case of an emergency, the Shenzhen 120 Center will collaborate with the Zhongshan 120 Center, traffic police, and the Shenzhong Link Emergency Management Center to handle incidents effectively. Designated hospitals in the area will be promptly notified to prepare for patient reception.
For incidents within Shenzhen's jurisdiction, the Shenzhen 120 Center typically dispatches nearby ambulances. However, in special circumstances such as traffic congestion, the Zhongshan 120 Center is called upon for additional support.
Outside Shenzhen's jurisdiction, the emergency number 0755-120 can be dialed for support, with the Shenzhen 120 Center ready to deploy ambulances as needed.
In cases where traffic congestion hinders transport to Shenzhen's designated hospitals and happens within Shenzhen's jurisdiction, patients may be rerouted to the nearest designated hospital in Zhongshan. The Zhongshan 120 Center will coordinate with these hospitals to facilitate smooth patient admissions.
For incidents outside Shenzhen's jurisdiction, the Shenzhen 120 Center will respond to coordinated requests from the Zhongshan 120 Center, dispatching ambulances based on distance, traffic conditions, and patient needs.
In cases where there is traffic congestion and the patient is in critical condition, the Shenzhen 120 Center may activate its aerial rescue mechanism.
