Heading north from the Exit D of Yinhu Metro Station, you will get to a green wonderland—Shenzhen's Yinhu community. The hustle and bustle of the city seems to come to an end here, replaced by endless delightful scenery and comfortable lifestyles.
On the main road, there is a memorial archway standing under the shade of trees, creating a sense of history to this tranquil place.
There is a park next to the Yinhu Reservoir—Xiangsilin Park (相思林公园)—which in Chinese means lovesickness. Here, several tents are distributed sparsely, children play happily and parents enjoy sunshine in this fine park. With the surrounding mountains, all of these scenes create a beautiful picture. On both sides of the parkway are lined with ficus banyans and eucalyptus.
If you like hiking or climbing mountains, it's definitely a good choice to come to the Yinhu Mountain Jiaoye Park (银湖山郊野公园). The path to the mountaintop is adventurous, winding but not rugged. Many experienced people climb the mountain by bicycles. It relaxing to take a walk along the trail to observe different kinds of vegetation or have a small talk with cleaners who are piling up leaves. If you can find a right angle, you can even overlook the entire Yinhu community on this path.
