Xpeng Aeroht's flying car research, intelligent manufacturing, and sales center will be established in the Guangzhou Development District. It will produce the flying component of its modular flying car, the "Land Aircraft Carrier," according to the Guangdong Low-Altitude Economy High-Quality Development Conference held in Guangzhou on July 4.

The Guangzhou Development District (Huangpu District) government and Xpeng Aeroht signed an investment cooperation agreement for the flying car project at the conference.
The center will be used for testing, production, sales, and operational management of flying cars. The intelligent manufacturing center is the world's first flying car factory to utilize modern assembly lines for large-scale production.
The "Land Aircraft Carrier" is divided into ground and air modules, which can autonomously separate and combine. The ground module can fully accommodate the air module inside the vehicle and perform ground travel. It is expected to achieve mass production by 2026, with pre-sales officially starting in the fourth quarter of this year.
The product had its Type Certificate (TC) application accepted by the Civil Aviation Administration of Central and Southern China (CAAC)in March 2024, which signifies that the model is set to enter the airworthiness certification phase.
Xpeng Aeroht, Asia's largest flying car company, is an affiliate of XPeng Inc., both of which are based in the Guangzhou Development District. Recognized as a "Hurun Global Unicorn," Xpeng Aeroht integrates intelligent automotive technology with modern aviation, providing urban areas with innovative transportation products and solutions.
Currently, Xpeng Aeroht's research and development center and flight testing base are located in Guangzhou. The company has also established flying car laboratories in Shenzhen and Shanghai.
