It is expected that most cities and counties in Guangdong will be cloudy on May 16-17, with temporary showers in some western cities and counties. Starting from May 18, heavy precipitation and strong convective weather will become more frequent in Guangdong Province, with central and western cities leading in localized heavy rains. On May 19, there will be heavy and locally heavy rain in cities and counties such as Shaoguan, Qingyuan, the Pearl River Delta, Maoming, and Yangjiang , with level 8 winds and small hail.
During severe convective weather, outdoor activities should be minimized. When encountering strong convective weather outdoors, you should stay away from scaffolding, billboards, and other structures, and seek refuge in the nearest safe area as soon as possible.
