On May 23rd, the 20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) opened at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center, with 31 provinces, regions, cities, and Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan province participating. Over 300 overseas exhibitors from 60 countries and regions also took part.
The Guizhou Pavilion in Hall 11, themed around mountains, created a "garden-like" environment, attracting many visitors to immerse themselves in the scenic beauty.
High popularity at the Guizhou Pavilion
Guizhou, known for its beautiful natural landscapes, displayed its key scenic spots such as Huangguoshu Waterfall, Xiaoqikong, Xijiang Miao Village, Chishui River, Wanfenglin, and Fanjing Mountain. On the column screens, the charm of Guizhou's world-class tourist attractions unfolded gradually, allowing visitors to savor the colorful "picturesque scenery" of Guizhou.
Vibrant display of Guizhou's diverse ethnic culture
Guizhou, dubbed the "green oxygen bar" and a destination for summer retreats, allows for over 330 days of outdoor activities annually, earning it the title of "paradise for outdoor sports." In the cultural and sports integration section, visitors could purchase related tourism products through interactive screens, facilitating spontaneous trips to Guizhou.
Embroidery, brocade weaving, batik, silver jewelry, utensils, song and dance… Nearly 60 companies from Guizhou showcased close to a thousand exhibits, covering Guizhou's distinctive cultural products, intangible cultural heritage, and cultural creative goods. Among them, the most attention-grabbing cultural creative product is the Dragon and Phoenix Embroidered Golden Robe, which is inspired by traditional Chinese culture. The robe weighs around 3 kilograms. Six seasoned artisans, with over 10 years of experience each, spent 240 days to design and produce it. Nearby, gold and silver hats inspired by the ethnic minority jewelry from the deep mountains of southeastern Guizhou, as well as delicate Guizhou silverware, were also on display.
Furthermore, during the ICIF, from 11:00 to 12:00 and 15:00 to 16:00 daily, there were performances of Xiao (flute) and guitar at the Guizhou Pavilion, treating visitors to a fusion of traditional Chinese and Western music.
