During winter, when strolling through the streets of Guangdong, one may unexpectedly find themselves immersed in a dreamy pink spectacle. The flowers of silk floss trees, layered and intertwined, look like a sea of pink clouds. Against the clear blue sky, they blend harmoniously with the verdant pathways, creating a scene straight out of a fairy tale for passersby.
The trees of this kind boast a unique romantic charm during southern winters. From October to December each year, as the weather gradually cools, silk floss trees begin to bloom. Their pink blossoms in a cluster on the branches, when gracefully swaying in the wind, resemble vibrant clouds at dawn.
