Back in the day, the Shenzhen River was like a Great Wall between Shenzhen and HKSAR. But guess what? Now, on both sides of this river, there's a joint venture in the making - the HTCZ, a tech and innovation hotspot.
Covering about 3.89 square kilometers, this zone has two parts. On the south side of the Shenzhen River, there's the HKSAR area (they call it the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park) spanning around 0.87 square kilometers. Then, on the north side, you've got the Shenzhen area, hogging about 3.02 square kilometers.
Now, what makes the HTCZ unique?
