Travel from Shenzhen to Jiangmen in 1 hour! Check out latest progress on Shenzhen-Jiangmen Railway

Recently, with the successful installation of a 710-ton prefabricated double-track box girder on the bridge piers at Zhongshan Henglan Station, a crucial milestone in the construction of the Shenzhen-Jiangmen Railway has been reached. The first box girder installation marks the project entering the full-scale girder construction phase.

The 116-kilometer-long main line of the Shenzhen-Jiangmen Railway starts from the planned Shenzhen Xili Station, passing through Shenzhen's Bao'an, Dongguan's Binhai Bay, Guangzhou's Nansha, and Zhongshan, finally reaching Jiangmen.

There are seven stations along the entire line: Shenzhen Xili (not included in the construction of the Shenzhen-Jiangmen Railway project), Shenzhen Airport East, Dongguan Binhai Bay, Nansha, Zhongshan North, Henglan, and Jiangmen stations.

The Shenzhen Xili to Nansha section of the Shenzhen-Jiangmen Railway has a designed speed of 200 kilometers per hour, while the Nansha to Jiangmen section has a designed speed of 250 kilometers per hour. Once the Railway is completed and operational, it will take less than 1 hour to travel between Jiangmen and Shenzhen, and Shenzhen and the Guangzhou Nansha Free Trade Zone will see a half-hour high-speed railway ride.
