As spring arrives, Maoming City's Huazhou is blanketed in a sea of white blossoms. Huazhou is renowned as China's Hometown of Huajuhong, which is tomentose pummelo peel, a premium traditional Chinese medicinal material. Over 132,600 mu (8,840 hectares) of huajuhong trees are now in full bloom.

On March 15, Huazhou launched the 2025 Huajuhong Flower Appreciation Festival. The route connects attractions such as Juzhou Ecological Park, the China Huajuhong Museum, and China's First Huajuhong Village. Tourists can stroll through fragrant flower fields in the daytime, exploring the millennium history of Southern Chinese medicinal herbs, and savor local specialties like Huazhou beef offal and sesame oil chicken under the night sky.
