Preparations for Airshow China in full swing

On August 4th, the countdown ceremony for the 15th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, known as the China Airshow, was held in Zhuhai, marking 100 days until the event. Key announcements included the introduction of a "second exhibition zone" displaying unmanned equipment in Doumen Lianzhou, the return of "Russian Knights" Aerobatic Team, and the global debut of advanced equipment like the "land carrier" drone. The airshow is scheduled to be held from November 12th to 17th in Zhuhai, featuring nearly 800 exhibitors from 47 countries and regions.

This year's airshow will feature 13 exhibition halls, with an indoor exhibition area of 120,000 square meters, a 20% increase from the previous 100,000 square meters. The outdoor exhibition area will cover approximately 230,000 square meters. For the first time, an "unmanned equipment demonstration zone" will be established in Doumen Lianzhou, featuring both unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned ships. Exhibitors from 47 countries and regions, including Russia, France, the United States, and Saudi Arabia, will participate as groups, with global aerospace giants like Boeing, Airbus, Honeywell, Embraer, Safran, and Thales showcasing their products.

The airshow will focus on cutting-edge topics such as the low-altitude economy, commercial spaceflight, and sustainable aviation, hosting numerous conferences and forums. Industry regulators, renowned international guests, industry experts, and key corporate representatives will discuss industry trends and share technological advancements.

The exhibition will include themed areas such as the Low-Altitude Economy Pavilion, Civil Aviation Industry Exhibition Area, Commercial Aircraft Industry Exhibition Area, Commercial Spaceflight Exhibition Area, and New Materials and Applications Exhibition Area. Exhibits will cover land, sea, air, space, electronics, and networks, featuring high-tech, cutting-edge products representing world-class standards. The quality and structure of domestic exhibitors' offerings have been further enhanced. The Chinese Air Force, Army, and Navy will display their most advanced equipment, and a wide range of new exhibits, technologies, and achievements will comprehensively showcase China's innovation in aerospace and defense.

For the first time, the airshow will present a dynamic integration of "air, space, sea, and land" demonstrations, featuring "manned + unmanned," "live + remote," and "land + sea" performances, offering audiences a spectacular and impressive dynamic display.

The "Russian Knights" Aerobatic Team will return to the Airshow China after an eight-year hiatus, performing with six Su-35S fighter jets alongside China's "August 1st" and "Red Eagle" Aerobatic Teams. Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, and Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC) will showcase their flagship commercial aircraft with flying displays. Besides, the "unmanned equipment demonstration zone" in Doumen Lianzhou, will feature exciting drone performances, including the global debut of innovative equipment such as XPENG AEROHT's "Land Aircraft Carrier" modular flying car.
