ICIF Close-up ① | Discover traditional and modern cultural products in the Greater Bay Area

As the only international and comprehensive cultural industries fair in China, China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIFhas opened its 20th session on May 23, 2024. The 20th lClF has set up 8 halls, including 3 comprehensive halls and 5 professional halls.

The GHM Greater Bay Area Hall (Hall 13) focuses on the cultural industry development and collaborative achievements of the '9+2' city cluster in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It showcases the innovative development in digital culture, creative design, cultural tourism, and more, aiming to promote the coordinated growth of regional cultural industries.

The cheongsam designed by Janko Lam, a designer from Hong Kong SAR. Her works have been exhibited in the Louvre in France, and museums in Germany, Japan and other countries. Some of them are in the permanent collection of the Hong Kong Heritage Museum.

The immersive experience gallery showcases Hong Kong's urban landscape, cuisine and culture.

Jiangmen Maolong pen, also known as the Chinese grass pen, which has a 500-year history and enjoys widespread popularity in both China and  Southeast Asia.

Stone seal cutting in Guangdong Pavilion. This traditional Chinese art form is recognized as one of the national intangible cultural heritages. Seal cutting is one of the unique traditional arts in China, which involves the reproduction of calligraphy through knife carving.
