The Baiyun Urban Development and Investment Group and Sam's Club (Shanghai) Investment Co., Ltd. inked a partnership agreement on the 5th of August, marking the official establishment of Baiyun's first and Guangzhou's fourth Sam's Club location. The signing ceremony, held at the Baiyun District People's Government, heralds a new chapter in the district's commercial landscape.

Sam's Club, a premium, large-format, warehouse-style membership store under the umbrella of global retail giant Walmart Inc., is renowned for its extensive range of global imports, exceptional shopping experience, and distinctive merchandising strategies, and has captured the hearts of shoppers worldwide.
The premier Sam's Club outlet in Baiyun will be situated in Jiahe, at the heart of the Baiyun New City's Jiahewanggang Business Core Area, specifically north of Wanggang Avenue in the expanding Guangzhou Design Hub. Situated at the intersection of Metro Lines 2, 3, and 14, the location promises unparalleled accessibility and connectivity.
The project, spanning a total land area of approximately 45,462 square meters with a gross floor area of roughly 48,150 square meters, will also include approximately 1,100 parking spaces. Notably, Baiyun's Sam's Club aims to become the first in Guangzhou to achieve China's Green Building Three-Star rating, emphasizing sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Scheduled for construction commencement in October 2024, the project is targeting a grand opening in October 2026, ushering in a new era of retail excellence for Baiyun residents.
The arrival of Sam's Club in Baiyun District not only promises local residents a fresh and elevated shopping experience but also injects a significant boost into the regional economy.
