The BEYOND Expo 2023 opened in Macao on May 10. The Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin set up the "IC Enterprises Exhibition" and the "Biomedicine and Healthcare Enterprises Exhibition" at the Expo, with more than 70 enterprises showcasing the zone's technical achievements.
The "IC Enterprises Exhibition" displayed a series of innovative applications from over 20 integrated circuit enterprises of the zone and more than 10 Chinese chip enterprises. Also, the “Biomedicine and Healthcare Enterprises Exhibition” area showcased the achievements and characteristic products of 30 relevant enterprises in the zone.
"We came here to show our domestic autonomous and controllable edge AI chip. Currently, our chips have been mass-produced and used in many important scenarios, such as Energy Internet, logistics monitoring, and autonomous robots." Jiang Zhaohui, founder, CEO, and CTO of Guangdong LeapFive Technology Co, Ltd., said that enterprises settled in Hengqin can more easily cooperate with universities in Macao and recruit high-end talent in chip designing.
The three-day BEYOND Expo focused on sustainable development, life science, and consumption technologies and had an exhibition area of almost 100,000 square meters. Over 1000 exhibitors, including global Fortune 500 companies, major multinational corporations, unicorn start-ups, and newly-established companies, attended the event.
