Guangdong litchi is enjoying a bumper harvest this summer. Varieties such as Jinggang Hongnuo, Nuomici and Feizixiao from Guangzhou's Conghua District have started their journey abroad to overseas markets.
A Guangdong litchi-themed promotion event will kick off in Singapore soon. Ouyang Jianzhong, the chairman of Guangzhou Conghua Hualong Fruit and Vegetable Company and the president of Hualong Litchi Industrial Research Institute, calls for foodies worldwide to enjoy the sweet taste of Guangdong litchi.
Established in 1998, Guangzhou Conghua Hualong Fruit and Vegetable Company is a leading agricultural company of Guangdong, featuring litchi varieties including Jinggang Hongnuo, Nuomici, Guiwei and Lingfengnuo. Apart from domestic markets, these litchi are mainly exported to Canada, Japan and countries in Southeast Asia and Europe.
