Hengqin Port sees new record on daily passenger flow, reaching 70,000

On November 18, about 72,000 inbound and outbound passengers passed through Hengqin Port, according to the Hengqin Border Inspection Station. It is the first time that the passenger flow in this port has exceeded 70,000 people in a single day, and it is also the eighth time that Hengqin Port has witnessed a new record high this year. Starting from October, the daily flow of passengers through Hengqin Port has been more than 60,000 people on several consecutive weekends.

During November, various activities held in Macao, including the 70th Macau Grand Prix, the 23rd Macau Food Festival, as well as a series of exhibitions and performances, have attracted a large number of tourists. Moreover, livelihood projects, such as the Macau New Neighbourhood, are gradually put into use, encouraging more residents from Hong Kong and Macao to settle down.
