A foreign trade supply-demand matching event between the Guangzhou Nansha Free Trade Zone and Arab countries was held in the Nansha District of Guangzhou City on July 24, organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Guangdong Guangzhou Nansha Committee.
During the event, 26 foreign trade enterprises from Nansha District engaged in discussions with Arab businessmen from Oman, Saudi Arabia, and other Arab countries, exploring opportunities for economic and trade cooperation.
Qiu Haibin, Director of the CCPIT Guangdong Guangzhou Nansha Committee, said that through exchanges with international chambers of commerce, it was discovered that the Middle East is in need of products such as clothing, luggage, construction materials, medical equipment, and electronic products. "This event is aimed at facilitating connection between Chinese and foreign enterprises," said Qiu.
Han Zaixiang, the Chinese Business Representative of HRH Prince Naif bin Abdullah bin Saud bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia, said that the Middle East is focused on key demand areas, including construction engineering, the healthcare industry, high-tech, new energy, and luggage. "This event serves as a platform to source targeted products from Nansha enterprises, providing a matching channel for Nansha's foreign trade enterprises to expand into Arabian markets. Additionally, it assists enterprises in analyzing the market demands for their products in Arab countries," said Han.
