Guangdong has recently seen the first DSA (Digital Subtraction Angiography)-CT Hybrid Operating Room open in the Emergency Department of the Shenzhen-based Seventh Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University.

The Hybrid Operating Room integrates advanced imaging equipment such as DSA CT, and MRI into one operating room. It’s equivalent to moving the CT room into the operating room, along with DSA.
He Yulong, President of the hospital, said that for patients with acute myocardial infarction or cerebral infarction, giving treatment within the platinum 4 minutes of first aid can greatly improve patients’ survival.
Its use will provide a faster and more convenient one-stop emergency medical service for patients with chest pain, stroke, and trauma.
