How was your May Day holiday? Where did you spend the five days? If you’re thinking about travelling again by air at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, here are the 10 travelling reminders you can’t miss!

1. COVID-19 test, antigen test, and identity information check are needed for domestic departure.
Starting from May 3, passengers need to have:
For domestic departure: negative 48-hour COVID-19 test result, one free antigen test on site, green health code, normal body temperature, and identity information.
For international departure: ticket information, negative 48-hour COVID-19 test result, green health code and normal body temperature.
2. All inbound domestic flights to Guangzhou will arrive at Area B of T1.
In line with the requirements of pandemic prevention and control, all the inbound and outbound domestic flights at Baiyun Airport land or take off at T1. This may be subject to change, please check online in advance or consult with the specific airlines.
Currently, for domestic arrivals, passengers need to have a nucleic acid test immediately after entering T1 through Gate W3. Passengers can leave right after the sample is taken on the spot.
3. Only some departure gates of T1 and T2 are open to passengers.
T1: Gate 4, Gate 20, and Gate 29
T2: Gate 46
4. Sufficient time is needed for passengers taking domestic flights.
As passengers need antigen test and other information verification, they are suggested to ensure sufficient time for all the procedures at the airport before departure.
5. Luggage deposit and packaging services are suspended.
Due to the pandemic, some services at terminal buildings, including luggage deposit, lost and found as well as packaging, are canceled and most stores are also closed. Given the situation of pandemic, normal operations may be resumed in an orderly fashion.
6. All smoking rooms of T1 and T2 are temporarily closed.
7. For parking: only P3, P5, and P8 are currently open to passengers.
With the construction of some intercity railways and parking lots underway, passengers can only park at P3, P5, and P8 at Baiyun Airport. If you are heading for T1 or pick up someone there, please go to P3 or P5. If you are driving to T2, please find a parking space at P8.
8. Airport South station of Metro Line 3 suspends operation.
In addition, the Exit B of Airport North Station on Metro Line 3 is also closed. Passengers who are taking the metro to the airport can get off at Airport North station and takes the free airport shuttle bus. The two stops are respectively at Gate 42 of T2 and Gate 10 of T1.
9. Passengers should wear masks all the time.
For the health of yourself and others, passengers should wear masks during the flight. Don’t take it off to do makeup or rinse your mouth, especially in toilets.
10. The first-class lounges of some airlines are adjusted.
For first-class passengers of China Eastern Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines and Hainan Airlines, the lounges have been relocated to those of Air China which is situated at West 1 Concourse of T1.
