Negative 48h test result no longer required to take trains and planes from December 7

Starting from December 7, passengers buying train tickets, entering and leaving railway stations in Guangdong will no longer need to show a negative 48-hour COVID-19 test result and green health code, according to the latest announcement by China Railway.

In the meantime, Guangzhou Baiyun Airport also will not check negative 48-hour COVID-19 test results and green health codes of those entering the terminal buildings, as China published the latest guidelines on COVID-19 epidemic control measures on Wednesday (December 7).

For those bound for Beijing, the adjustment has not been announced so far.
