The helicopter, adorned in a striking red and blue livery and emblazoned with a galloping horse and the Eastern Airlines logo, touched down precisely at 10:03 am at Jiulong Lake Square. Accommodating four passengers alongside the pilot, the chopper was greeted by residents who had arrived early to witness its arrival.

One of the first participants, Mr. Huang, expressed his excitement. As a resident of Knowledge City, he immediately signed up upon learning about Huangpu's inaugural helicopter sightseeing test flight. "My whole family of four is here today, and my children are particularly thrilled. We arrived early in the morning!" he shared.

The test flight route encompassed Jiulong Lake, Jingxia Village, and the Low-Altitude Industrial Park (Folong Village). Jiulong Lake, the heart of Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, boasts multifunctional appeal. Its waters harmonize with the surrounding greenery to create an inviting leisure spot. Jingxia Village, rich in natural resources and cultural heritage, attracts visitors with its Lingnan characteristics and educational programs.

Huangpu has pioneered measures to promote the high-quality development of the low-altitude economy. The district has attracted a cluster of enterprises across the entire low-altitude economic chain and is currently planning and constructing infrastructure such as low-altitude economic industrial parks, drone landing sites, and flight routes.
