Rumor has it that people living in Qiaonan New Street escaped from quarantine on Nov. 21.
After GDToday's investigation, the fact isCOVID-related people from Nanzhou Subdistrict, one of the epicenters of the COVID-19 flare-ups in Guangzhou's Haizhu District, were being safely transferred to quarantine hotels.
The extremely high population density in theCOVID-hit areas creates an environment for the virus to spread rapidly. Transfer can lower population density and transmission risk.
