Latest suspension of 8 intl’ flights to Guangdong, including 7 to Guangzhou, 1 to Shenzhen

Staring from June 27, another eight international flights to Guangdong will be suspended, including 7 to Guangzhou, 1 to Shenzhen, according to the early announcements by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).

Here are the details:

1. Istanbul-Guangzhou

Nine passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight TK72 from Istanbul, Turkey arriving in Guangzhou, China on June 1st, which has led to a one-week suspension of the flight, starting from June 27th.

Seven passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight TK72 from Istanbul, Turkey arriving in Guangzhou, China on June 8th, which has led to a two-week suspension of the flight, starting from July 4th.

2. Dubai-Guangzhou

Six passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight EK362 from Dubai, the United Arab Emirates arriving in Guangzhou, China on June 4th, which has led to a one-week suspension of the flight, starting from June 27th.

12 passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight EK362 from Dubai, the United Arab Emirates arriving in Guangzhou, China on June 11th, which has led to a four-week suspension of the flight, starting from July 4th.

3. Toyko-Guangzhou

Six passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight JL087 from Toyko arriving in Guangzhou, China on June 3th, which has led to a one-week suspension of the flight, starting from June 27th.

4. Ho Chi Minh-Guangzhou

Seven passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight CZ3070 from Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam arriving in Guangzhou, China on June 5th, which has led to a one-week suspension of the flight, starting from June 27th.

11 passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight CZ3070 from Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam arriving in Guangzhou, China on June 12th, which has led to a four-week suspension of the flight, starting from July 4th.

5. Jakarta-Shenzhen

Five passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight CZ8354 from Jakarta, Indonesia arriving in Guangzhou, China on June 7th, which has led to a two-week suspension of the flight, starting from June 27th.

6. Sydney-Guangzhou

Five passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight CZ326 from Sydney arriving in Guangzhou, China on June 8th, which has led to a two-week suspension of the flight, starting from June 27th.

10 passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight CZ326 from Sydney arriving in Guangzhou, China on June 15th, which has led to a four-week suspension of the flight, starting from July 11th.

7. Nairobi-Guangzhou

Nine passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight KQ880 from Nairobi, Kenya arriving in Guangzhou, China on June 11th, which has led to a two-week suspension of the flight, starting from June 27th.

8. Los Angeles-Guangzhou

Ten passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight CZ328 from Los Angeles arriving in Guangzhou, China on May 24th, which has led to a two-week suspension of the flight, starting from June 27th.

Ten passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight CZ328 from Los Angeles arriving in Guangzhou, China on May 29th, which has led to a two-week suspension of the flight, starting from June 27th.

Eight passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight CZ328 from Los Angeles arriving in Guangzhou, China on June 5th, which has led to a two-week suspension of the flight, starting from July 11th.

16 passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight CZ328 from Los Angeles arriving in Guangzhou, China on June 12th, which has led to a four-week suspension of the flight, starting from July 25th.

Quota for these above-mentioned flights shall not be used for other routes. CAAC also requires those airlines to provide services, such as passenger comfort, ticket refunds and changes on subsequent flights, in line with the requirement of local embassies or consulates.
