Nestled within the bustling heart of the Bai'etan Central Business Zone, the Center covers a floor area of about 145,000 square meters, with an exhibition area of over 40,000 square meters and a shared public area of 35,000 square meters. Designed by Chinese architect He Jingtang and his team, it evokes the imagery of a vessel embarking on a voyage of cultural enlightenment.

To the east of the art center lies the Bai'etan branch of the Guangdong Museum of Art, featuring 21 exhibition halls. The museum has specially prepared the "Stride Toward the New Era: Opening Exhibitions of the New Guangdong Museum of Art," which displays over 900 works by more than 700 artists from both domestic and overseas.

Here, visitors can marvel at the timeless works of renowned Chinese artists such as Qi Baishi, Lin Fengmian, and representatives of the Lingnan School, alongside 55 authentic works from the 16th and 17th centuries by masters from Italy and the northern region, including Raphael, Rubens, and Titian. Furthermore, an immersive digital art exhibition promises to transport visitors into a realm of beauty, showcasing Lingnan's mountains and seas.

The Guangdong Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum showcases national and provincial-level intangible cultural heritage projects, alongside collaborative works by heritage inheritors. The center features the exquisite craftsmanship of Chaozhou woodcarving, Cantonese porcelain, traditional dragon boats, as well as interactive AI guides, theatrical showcases crafted with 3D technology, and more, promising an immersive cultural odyssey.

Moreover, the Guangdong Literary Museum, which features six permanent exhibition halls and one temporary hall, displays over 1,300 invaluable artifacts, including 34 multimedia interactive exhibits and 96 films. Through rare manuscripts, vintage photographs, and digital presentations, the hall provides a journey through over 2,000 years of literary legacy, spanning from ancient Lingnan literature to contemporary works.

Noteworthy is a thematic exhibition dedicated to the iconic Chinese literary figure Lu Xun, which vividly chronicles his life with his wife, Xu Guangping.

Furthermore, the center also features scenic promenades, waterfront boardwalks, picturesque footbridges, and rooftop gardens, inviting visitors to linger and immerse themselves in the allure of Lingnan's cultural tapestry.
