Guangdong-produced animation IP "GG Bond" won the TV Animation Image Award during the 2023 China Animation Conference held in Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province, from December 8 to 10. The Conference was hosted by the China Animation Association, and the Award was a tribute to the 40 years of TV animation in China.

Last week, the animated feature film "GG Bond: Ocean Mission" was awarded the prize at the 11th Guangdong Lu Xun Literature and Art Award (Art Category).

Over the past 40 years, Guangdong, as one of the birthplaces of Chinese animation, has witnessed the development of the industry and cultivated a number of leading companies and high-quality IPs that are influential at home and abroad. Some of them include GG Bond—a flagship IP of Winsing Animation; Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf, presented by Creative Power Entertaining; Boonie Bears, created by Fantawild Animation; Balala the Fairies, produced by Alpha Animation, and so on.
Winsing Animation, an active player of the province's animation industry, has launched several series of animation works, such as GG Bond, Gogobus, Doby & Disy, and Mongo. Over the past 20 years, 14 of its animation works were recommended as excellent domestic animation by the National Radio and Television Administration.

The company also presented its new projects at the 24th edition of the Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF) held in Singapore from December 6 to 8, as well as the Dubai International Content Market (DICM) at the end of November. Among these shows were Mongo, a new animated comedy about three mischievous pets, and Mega Meow, a CG-animated mecha adventure targeting kids aged six to nine. These additions expanded the range of offerings presented by Winsing Animation.
