On June 28, the 2023 Panyu Crape Myrtle Cultural and Tourism Festival kicked off at Yuyin Shanfang, one of four famous gardens in Guangdong Province.
Cantonese music, opera, dances and recitations of poems were performed alternately at the classic garden, raising the curtain on this cultural carnival. The event will last until August 31, featuring a crape myrtle gardening exhibition, a bowl lotus exhibition, traditional Chinese music performances and more.
