As one of the world's largest exhibition and convention centers, Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center has a building area of 1.6 million square meters, and an indoor exhibition area of 400,000 square meters. It only took three and a half years from design to completion at "Shenzhen speed". The world-class exchange platform combines its unique architectural form with an advanced three-dimensional traffic network that separates pedestrians and vehicles, suffused with green wisdom.

The Center showcases the deep meaning of the "Maritime Silk Road" figuratively with the lavender blue wavy roof and the winding colorful ribbon patterns. The passionate Shenzhen flower, bougainvillea, and "coast guard" mangroves are subtly integrated into the design, becoming a unique architectural language.

As the first Xinhua bookstore in Guangzhou, the bookstore is an important part of the memory of Guangzhou residents. It shows visitors the context of the city's development, and allows visitors to feel the multiculturalism of Guangzhou via showing the characteristic culture of Guangzhou.

In terms of the overall layout, the design draws on the layout mode of the "vestibule and backyard" and "three courtyards" in Xiguan Mansion. The buildings in the Guangfu area have "halls", "courtyards" and "book pavilions" since ancient times.
