As of April 16th, the number of expat holders of the ‘Suikang code' totalled 23,657 in Guangzhou.
The Suikang code (Guangzhou health code) has been used to manage and verify entries of both locals and expats alike in the city, all of whom are required to apply for one. Entrants with a green code or blue code can access residential communities and public places, while people with a red code will be denied access.
